Dr Antoine (Tony) Beayno completed a Psychiatry residency at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He is an executive board member of the Lebanese Medical Association for Sexual Health (LebMASH) which advocates for health equity and affirmative care for LGBTQ individuals. He completed a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Hospital, with primary focuses on outpatient transgender medicine and psychiatry, as well as HIV Psychiatry. He is currently elected as the fellow in the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry (GAP)’s LGBTQ+ Mental Health committee. He has given multiple trainings and workshops about mental health and sexual health considerations in the LGBTQ community, as well as worked on initiatives for LGBTQ+ affirmative care in healthcare through community work and research. He is currently continuing his training in psychiatry at Mount Sinai.
