Alexandra Farhangui is a medical student at the EnMed program at Texas A&M on route to achieve both her MD and Master of Engineering. She did her undergraduate education at Cornell University, graduating with a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry. She is currently in her 3rd year of medical school and hopes to go into Urology.
Her research interest are broad, ranging from design/prototyping of bolus removal devices and otoscopy devices, to work increasing education opportunities and recruitment for living kidney donation, to urological research using trans-cranial magnetic stimulation to improve lower urinary tract symptoms in multiple sclerosis patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and soccer, event planning, cooking, needlepoint, and spending time with her family.
