Courtney Vecera is the Clinical Research Coordinator for the UTHealth Center of Excellence on Mood Disorders, supervising the research staff and protocols. Her responsibilities include orchestrating study protocols form start-up to closeout, participant recruitment, data collection, and adherence to regulatory and ethical guidelines for fifty complex clinical trials. She works closely with the team of Study Coordinators, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center and providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of research quality and participant safety are maintained. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Courtney is actively engaged in academia, publishing journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts.
