Dr. Michael S. La Sala is a licensed psychiatrist holding the position of director of emergency and consultation - liaison psychiatry at Florida Atlantic University. He completed both a fellowship in CL psychiatry and residency in general adult psychiatry from Stony Brook University Hospital. He holds a doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor's and master's degree as well as a certificate in clinical and translational research from the University of Florida in the Department of Neuroscience. He has 11 publications involving various topics in neurosciences and has presented his work at numerous national conferences. His current research involves case reports in psychiatry.
